This Acceptable Use Policy (this “AUP”) sets forth rules that apply to the use of any of TypeSafe AI, Inc.’s (“TypeSafe”) services (the “Services”) by you, your Customer Users, or any other person to whom you grant the right to access and use the Services (collectively, “you”). Your use of the Services must comply with this AUP. This AUP is not exhaustive, and TypeSafe reserves the right to take remedial action in connection with content or uses not specifically described below. TypeSafe may modify this AUP at any time by posting a revised version on TypeSafe’s website.

Capitalized terms not defined in this AUP have the meanings given in the TypeSafe Master Customer Agreement (available at https://typesafe.ai/legal/mca) or any other written agreement, contract, instrument, or other writing entered into by you and TypeSafe governing the provision of the Services to you (the “Agreement”).

1. Illegal Activities and Other Prohibited Conduct.

You may not use the Services to:

1.1 infringe, misappropriate, or violate another person’s intellectual property, privacy, publicity (e.g., voice or likeness), or other rights, whether that person is living or dead;

1.2 upload, process, store, or attempt to create any illegal content;

1.3 engage in manipulative or deceptive activities, including “spoofing,” “phishing,” or pyramid or similar schemes (including for the purpose of obtaining unauthorized access to sensitive information such as financial data or health information);

1.4 mislead others about whether content, including Output, was generated by AI;

1.5 upload, store, post, or transmit content, including Input, that contains viruses, malware, malicious code, or similar harmful materials;

1.6 transmit spam or other unsolicited communications to others;

1.7 engage in, promote, support, or facilitate obscene, defamatory, hateful, discriminatory, threatening, or violent activities, whether online or offline, including to disclose sensitive information without permission or incite violence to people or animals;

1.8 advocate or participate in discrimination, bigotry, or the incitement of violence against any person or group of people based on their race, religion, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, impairment, or any other characteristics associated therewith;

1.9 generate or promote violent threats, terrorism, or hateful content;

1.10 circumvent, compromise, or breach a third party’s system or property;

1.11 design, manufacture, or obtain weapons designed to cause harm or loss of life to others;

1.12 facilitate human trafficking, prostitution, sexual violence, or other forms of exploitation;

1.13 facilitate the exchange and distribution of illegal goods, services, or substances;

1.14 engage in or facilitate any other illegal conduct; or

1.15 engage in any activity that TypeSafe determines, on advice of counsel, will cause liability to it.

2. Child Safety.

You may not use the Services to:

2.1 create, share, or promote sexually explicit material involving minors, content that exploits or sexualizes children, or age-inappropriate content targeting minors (e.g., child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sexual material, graphic violence, or obscenity);

2.2 facilitate, promote, or engage in any form of child abuse;

2.3 contribute to cyberbullying or harassment, including by creating content that shames, humiliates, or threatens others; or

2.4 design services that encourage, or are intended to encourage, compulsive or excessive use by minors.

3. No Disruptions.

You will not and will not attempt to:

3.1 reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or access or derive the source code or data used to develop the Services;

3.2 access the Services through unauthorized means (e.g., scraping or crawling);

3.3 circumvent any security measures (e.g., CAPTCHA verification);

3.4 override or circumvent safety filters, security controls, or access controls, or intentionally drive TypeSafe’s AI model to act in a manner that contravenes TypeSafe’s policies;

3.5 disable or interfere with the Services;

3.6 monitor traffic on the Services without TypeSafe’s permission;

3.7 probe, scan, penetrate, or test the vulnerability of TypeSafe’s system or network; or

3.8 access other customers’ data or accounts without their express permission.

4. Others.

You will not permit or encourage others to commit any of the above actions.

TypeSafe may monitor compliance with this AUP and investigate any violations. If TypeSafe determines that you have violated, or are reasonably likely to violate, this AUP, then TypeSafe may remove or suspend your access to the Services.

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, including in the Agreement, TypeSafe may report any activity that it suspects violates any law or regulation to law enforcement officials, regulators, or other appropriate third parties, and cooperate with them to investigate and prosecute illegal conduct. TypeSafe’s reporting may include disclosing information related to the violation of this AUP.

If you become aware of any suspected violation of this AUP, please notify TypeSafe at support@typesafe.ai and provide a full explanation of the bases for the violation. TypeSafe may request your assistance to help stop or remedy the violation, and you agree to cooperate and assist TypeSafe in connection with any such violation.
